ECHO
Bridges Educational Corporation is a TRICARE-authorized ABA provider under ECHO (Extended Care Health Option) TriCare program.

Payable services include periodic evaluation of the beneficiary, development of a treatment plan, and training of family members to provide services in accordance with the treatment plan. TRICARE also funds ABA direct services with children when provided by a TRICARE-authorized provider.

Autism Demonstration Program

Bridges Educational Corporation is certified by the TriWest Healthcare Alliance to provide Educational Interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorders (EIA) Supervision and behavioral-based tutoring services under the Department of Defense Enhanced Access to Autism Services Demonstration project. The demonstration project is an enhancement to the TRICARE ECHO program for those TRICARE beneficiaries diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. This demonstration project allows reimbursement for behavioral-based tutoring services from providers. Authorized supervisors will be required to direct and oversee these tutors who will provide hands-on services to children with autism.

Who is eligible to receive services under the demonstration project?
Benefits under the demonstration project are available to children of active duty Service members (ADSMs) who are:
• At least 18 months of age
• Diagnosed by a Primary Care Provider (PCP) or specialized autism spectrum disorder (ASD) provider with one of the following:
• Autistic Disorder (AD)
• Asperger’s Disorder (AS)
• Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD)
• Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS)
• Enrolled in their Service’s Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP)
• Registered (or in the process of registering) in TRICARE’s Extended Care Health Option (ECHO) program through TriWest. The PCP or ASD provider can refer a child to the ECHO program or the family can request registration by filling out TriWest’s Case Management Referral Form
• Authorized by the TriWest to receive care under the demonstration
