Providing best practice services. We are committed to providing best practice services to children with developmental disabilities. Bridges is dedicated to using only scientifically proven interventions, including the teaching techniques and behavior strategies based on the principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Family centered services. We believe that the entire family, not just the child, should be included as our “consumer.” The entire family is affected by a child who has a developmental disability, and the family should be included in treatment and intervention. We emphasize parent and caregiver training, and participation of the family in all aspects of the intervention process.

Culturally competent services. Programming and parent training will follow a general developed curriculum, however, intervention services will be tailored to the needs of individual families, remaining aware of cultural factors. This includes sensitivity to language, parental practices, and cultural traditions.

Creating and maintaining a positive working environment for all employees. We foster a team-oriented approach and believe that everyone serves a valued role within Bridges. We are committed to supporting the development of personal and professional goals.

Community outreach. We are dedicated to community outreach, promoting awareness and research of autism and developmental disabilities.
